We are delighted by your interest in becoming a member of Crescent Run Farm! A membership entitles you to 17 weeks of produce from our farm. A full share membership is $350 and will provide you with about $21 of food each week. A half share is $175 and is equivalent to $11 of food each week. We also accept donations of any monetary value to grow food for the Waldoboro-Bremen Food Pantry.
How does it work?
Each week we will harvest, wash, and pack your produce to be picked up on the scheduled day. The CSA will run for approximately 17 weeks, between early June and late September, until the value of your share is met. Factors such as climatic conditions, season, and pests can influence the value of an individual pick-up, and the full value of your investment will be met over the course of your membership.
Market Share
We are happy to offer market shares to customers who attend the Thomaston farmers’ market.
- Purchase a $100 share before April 1, 2013 and receive a $110 credit to be used at either market.
- Any of our products may be purchased with this credit.
- The credit is only valid for 2013 and is non-refundable.
- Multiple credits may be purchased.
What if I want more than just vegetables?
We also offer fresh chicken and eggs that can be purchased on farm or pre-ordered by and dropped off with your CSA share. Poultry is $5.00 / lb and eggs are $4.00 / doz. Pork is available for purchase as a half or whole pig. Please see the PORK page for more information.
How do I sign up?
To join the CSA, fill out the CSA REGISTRATION form and mail it to us with your payment. A $100 deposit is due at sign-up. The remaining balance is due at the first pick-up. Your financial support assists us with the upfront and operating costs of the farm so we may provide you and the community with local, sustainable food! Please contact us to inquire about share availability.
